"I cannot recommend Rachael highly enough. Our whole experience from start to finish was excellent. Our boy LOVED the assessments and the way Rachael presented it to him, he didn't feel pressured or worried at all. The results and report were thorough and easy to understand and have helped us understand our boy so much more. He is so happy he understands how his brain works and it has given him so much more confidence in himself. Rachael communicated throughout and really helped us as parents."

"I am always thrilled when Rachael comes into school to assess a child. She works hard to understand the child's overall strengths and difficulties through 1:1 assessments but also extensive and thorough conversations with all staff involved in the child's school journey. Rachael is personable, professional, and intuitive and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending her."

"We have had Rachael assess both our children, at home during lockdown and at their current schools, in the first instance I was assured by their primary school that they were fine just below standard, but they were both so tired, homework made the end of the day worse, and you could feel their frustration. I would say trust your gut if you know your child is struggling. Please, if you can get an assessment from Rachael, do. The diagnosis opened up a new attitude to learning from both of my children, they realised they just learnt differently to the majority, that sometimes they needed time to process and that's okay, sometimes they need time to think before they speak and that's okay, and they were no longer afraid to ask for things to be explained in a different way.
Soon their strengths showed themselves, and they didn't care if their spelling and grammar was not accurate, they just gave it their best and have blossomed. The assessment showed where they excel, too, they don't care if their teachers still comment on their inability to spell, it's water off a duck's back. We have Rachael's kind, caring disposition and understanding to thank, and the assessments and report gave both of my children a real boost."

"I remember when Rachael assessed me when I was in Year Five, she told me afterwards how great I was and when you're a kid that's a lovely thing to hear. Rachael came to my school recently to reassess my report, she listened to my concerns and where I struggle, I am able to recheck my scores in exams and have very very frank discussions with my teachers because I know whilst my written word may be weak I have great skills elsewhere. Please don't put off getting an assessment, it is one of the best things my parents did for me and Rachael is a really decent person, she even managed to get on with my brother!"

"We cannot recommend Rachael highly enough. She was incredibly helpful, with excellent communication throughout the process of conducting a dyslexia assessment for our daughter. Every aspect of prior organisation, performing the assessment, and then compiling the report were conducted with care, attention, and an extremely high level of professionalism. The report was described as the best the school SENDCo had ever seen and has enabled us to get the support our daughter needed to enable her to flourish."

"We were introduced to Rachael via my child’s school. They had been struggling with focus, processing instructions and staying on task for sometime, particularly after experiencing some major sudden challenges with their mental health. Rachael made contact by phone and was able to explain the process and gather information about our situation. The meeting and assessment took place at school and took a few hours. My child found it very positive as Rachael is very welcoming and supportive. Rachael produced a detailed assessment with guidance for teachers and advice on how best to move forward. Rachael had a detailed knowledge of the broader support system and was able to ensure my child got the extra time they needed in their external exams. I am delighted to report that the exams went well and the extra time made a real difference. I strongly feel Rachael played an important part in identifying my child’s needs and ensuring the best support was in place to enable them to succeed and move forward. As a family we are very grateful for Rachael’s expertise and help. I would highly recommend Rachael to other families seeking assessment and appropriate educational support for their children and young adults."

"We are incredibly fortunate to have Rachael working with our school, and have done so for several years now. She regularly visits to engage with our children, and her warm, personable nature immediately puts them at ease. Her assessments are thorough, and her reports provide detailed profiles along with insightful recommendations that have been invaluable in supporting our students both at school and at home. We highly recommend her services to any school or family seeking professional and compassionate educational support.”

"Rachael worked wonderfully with our very anxious daughter, who was finding it difficult to adapt to the mainstream school environment. Rachael's friendly approach and absolute patience helped to put our daughter at ease and gave her the confidence to complete the required assessments. After the assessments, Rachael provided us with a very comprehensive report, which not only detailed the assessment results, but also gave us valuable suggestions for further evaluations. With this guidance, we discovered after 12 years, that our daughter is in fact dyslexic and has now been diagnosed to be on the autism spectrum. We would never have had this insight were it not for Rachael's assessment of our daughter. This has helped us to see things through very different eyes, and to seek the right support for our daughter."

"Rachael completed a Dyslexia assessment and observation for our daughter who has ASD and ADHD at our home address. The whole process was completely smooth from start to finish, the communication was excellent and we did not have to wait too long for an appointment. Our daughter felt completely at ease with Rachael which meant she could engage with the assessment and tasks. We received an excellent full report with some really helpful recommendations. Our daughter really enjoyed working with Rachael and we would highly recommend to any parents who are looking for an Educational Psychologist.”

"We received a recommendation to have our children assessed for Dyslexia given some struggles with their learning and the school put us in touch with Rachael. I believe no parent wants to hear that their children are struggling and need assessing for Dyslexia; however, working with Rachael quickly eased any fears and you realise that this is completely manageable and normal.
Rachael completed the assessment with both of our children, and both said they found the experience really easy and enjoyable. From the assessment we were able to receive a detailed report tailored specifically to each of our children’s unique learning needs. Rachael then spent the time to explain the report and make practical suggestions to us both academically and in the home – which were hugely useful.
Rachael then created a plan for the school to specifically help each of the children with how best to learn. We have taken this plan into all of their lessons and each teacher has specific changes to the way that they teach to help adapt the lessons to each of the children’s unique Dyslexia diagnoses.
We have seen an uptick in the children’s results after the plan and also have seen an increase in their enjoyment at school. I would highly recommend Rachael to any child or parent who needs support with Dyslexia."
